I live in Orange County, California and have been with the Wikipedia team for over 7 months. During that time, I have involved myself in local pages, including the Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County extensively. I have extensively edited many local Orange County pages including Anaheim, Brea, La Habra, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Buena Park, La Palma, Orange, Villa Park, Garden Grove, Fullerton, Cypress, Stanton, Westminster, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Tustin, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Irvine, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, La Jolla
I have also created many community pages in the Southern California region. Those communities include Talega, Wagon Wheel, El Modena, Olinda, Peralta Hills, Mountain Park, Monarch Beach, Atwood, Olive, Orange Hills, Midway City, Silverado Canyon, Trabuco Canyon, and Kite Hill.
I have improved many existing community pages extensively. Those include Orange Park Acres, Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Rossmoor, Sunset Beach, Newport Coast, Corona del Mar, Balboa Island, San Joaquin Hills of Newport Beach, San Joaquin Hills of Laguna Niguel, Santa Ana Heights, and Anaheim Hills
I have added a total of 26 infoboxes to Orange County cities that previously lacked them. All of the infoboxes I added follow the template, and I am the most active Wikipedian to participate in adding infoboxes at 26 improvements. I also created the community infobox and the community page from top to bottom.
My next project will be adding infoboxes to all the cities and CDP's in Los Angeles County. I expect to begin that project soon, and hope all turns out well. The pages I will be working on include Agoura Hills, Alhambra, Arcadia, Artesia, Avalon, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bell, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Beverly Hills, Bradbury, Burbank, Calabasas, Carson, Cerritos, Claremont, Commerce, Compton, Covina, Cudahy, Culver City, Diamond Bar, Downey, Duarte, El Segundo, Gardena, Glendora, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Hidden Hills, Huntington Park, Industry, Inglewood, Irwindale, La Cañada Flintridge, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, La Puente, La Verne, Lakewood, Lawndale, Lomita, Lynwood, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Maywood, Monrovia, Montebello, Monterey Park, Norwalk, Palos Verdes Estates, Paramount, Pico Rivera, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Rosemead, San Dimas, San Fernando, San Gabriel, Santa Fe Springs, Santa Monica, Sierra Madre, Signal Hill, South El Monte, South Gate, South Pasadena, Temple City, Vernon, Walnut, West Covina, West Hollywood, Westlake Village, and Whittier.
I have made many acquantances during my many edits over the months. Those people, some of whom I disagree with at time to time, include
There are many more, but these are the ones I have edited with, and sometimes against in the past, and do respect the above listed users, as well as many others I forgot to mention.
I am an avid opposer to the nonexistent naming conventions for communities. I like to follow the Wikipedia rules, but am tired of hearing editors talk about a community naming convention for unincorporated places when it does not exist. FIGHT TO SAVE THE COMMUNITIES, GIVE THEM THE NAME THEY DESERVE. My most notable opposition to lying and untrue naming conventions is on the Anaheim Hills page. Visit the page, and support the communities!!!
