It says she had the first legal abortion on television, however Maude Findley had one in 1972, which would have put her before Erica Kane. --BrenDJ 00:50, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Maude's abortion was legal only in that state. Erica had the first televised abortion which was legal nationally. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 02:54, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Erica's abortion was the first on television after Roe v. Wade -- the first one when abortion was legal throughout the U.S. Mike H. is right -- abortion was legal in New York State (where Maude lived) at the time, although Maude's abortion was no less controversial. However, I must confess that I think AMC took a giant step backwards when it rewrote history to bring Erica's son on.The Invisible Man 22:19, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
