Talk:Eric Cheng
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If there is any source of info on this guy other than a web forum interview and his own site, I'm fine with the article staying. Otherwise I'm nominating for AfD. The awards need citations if they are to stay in. Dsol 17:15, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] References
It seems that most of the so-called references are to one of Eric Cheng's own web sites. I'm removing all references that are not a credible, unbiased source. Kevin 10:40, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Winner of 2005 Nature's Best Photography International Photo Awards Competition
I request that an ostensibly inaccurate sentence of this article be clarified. The sentence reads: Eric recently won the "2005 Nature's Best Photography Competition". The Grand Prize Winner of the competition was Thorsten Milse, as published in the Fall 2005 edition of Nature's Best Photography magazine. It is true, however, that Mr. Cheng won the category award for Animal Antics, and I believe this particular statement must be modified to clearly reflect the actual results of the competition.
Also, the official name for the competition is not the 2005 Nature's Best Photography Competition, but rather the 2005 Nature's Best International Photography Awards Competition. While the competition may be loosely referred to by more abbreviated names in informal contexts, I believe the name of the competition should be accurately reflected in an article to be perceived as fact. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Quovado (talk • contribs).
