Erin Merryn

Erin Merryn is a girl who at age 11 suffered sexual abuse at the hands of her cousin. Her diary detailing her abuse, recovery, and reconciliation was published in book form as Stolen Innocence: Triumphing Over a Childhood Broken by Abuse. She has become a crusader for sexual-abuse victims, and actively encourages others to speak out about their own victimization. A story she wrote was featured in an edition of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul.
