Erik Ness

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eric Ness (1980 - 1999) made national headlines in the United States in 1996 when the Make-A-Wish Foundation arranged for Eric, of White Bear Lake, Minn., to travel to Alaska to shoot a Kodiak brown bear. Following pressure from animal rights groups Make-A-Wish backed down, however Eric eventually went on a bear hunt, arranged by and paid for by the Safari Club. Eric Ness died of cancer in 1999.
