Eric Williams (writer)

Eric Williams is an English author specializing in writing about prisoner of war escapes.

Imprisoned in Stalag Luft III during World War II, Williams, then a Flight Lieutenant in the RAF, along with Michael Codner and Oliver Philpot, took part in the escape that Williams would later describe in his book, The Wooden Horse.
