Eric Sparrow

Eric Sparrow, a fictional character, is the player's rival in the video game Tony Hawk's Underground. He is voiced by Mikey Kelley.

Sparrow's usual outfit consists of a black hoodie sweatshirt, jeans and green sneakers, and his hair is closely shaved. The only real change to his outfit in Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is that he wears a pink T-shirt instead of the black sweatshirt. His name is also a nod towards Tony Hawk.

In Tony Hawk's Underground, Sparrow is originally the player's friend and helps the player get a video for Stacey Peralta. Later on, the player and Eric battle to become the new top pro skater. Many contests later, Eric cheats his way to becoming the newest pro by feeding off of the player's success and accomplishments, but during the Vans Slam City Jam, if the player proves to be the true winner, the player takes the award from Eric.

Eric later tries to sabotage the player in Moscow, which he does by framing the player for crashing a tank and sending the player to prison. Out on bail and back to New Jersey, the player learns that Eric has a recording contract, his own brand of shoes, and many sponsors. The player must prove himself by making his own tape and sending it to the pros. The pros see the player's ability and finally gains sponsorship. Eric then shows the player that he still has a tape of an incredible stunt the player accomplished in Hawaii and challenges the player, winner takes the tape. Depending on how many goals the player has completed, the player can choose to either accept his challenge or get the true ending, punch him out, and take the tape.

In Tony Hawk's Underground 2, the player, Eric, and other pro skaters join the World Destruction Tour. While the player joins Tony Hawk's side, Eric is called up for Bam Margera's team. Even because of that, the player and Eric have little contact until the Australian part of the tour, in Sydney. By then, he had been making shameful performances one after another. By the end of the Australian stage, Eric and the player are in another contest in which one of the two will be left behind.
