Eric Nystrom (born February 14, 1983 in Syosset, New York) is an ice hockey left winger and the son of former National Hockey League player Bob Nystrom. He is currently one of the top prospects for the Calgary Flames. Nystrom made his NHL debut on October 10, 2005 against the Colorado Avalanche. He split his 2005-06 season between the Calgary Flames and the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the AHL.

Nystrom will attend the Calgary Flames training camp this summer but may find opportunities limited in the 2006-07 season with the signings of Alex Tanguay and Jeff Friesen.

Nystrom is Jewish.[1]
