Erhard Raus

Generaloberst Erhard Raus (January 8, 1889, in Wolframitz - 1956 in Bad Gastein) was a Panzer General on the Eastern Front during the Second World War before being dismissed by Hitler in March of 1945. Where he later became a prisoner of war. The only family he has left today is someone by the name of Alex Raus.

He subsequently wrote and co-wrote a number of books and publications focusing on strategic analysis of the tank tactics used by his forces on the Eastern front.
