Erbert & Gerbert's

Erbert & Gerbert's Subs and Clubs is a restaurant franchise that mainly sells submarine sandwiches. The chain originated in Wisconsin and now has locations throughout that state as well as in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Kevin and Beth Schippers opened the first restaurant in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1988, naming it after characters in stories Kevin's father used to tell him.
They perpare their sandwhiches differently from their competitors, they "take out the guts", (they cut the bread and take out the soft white dough part). Nothing goes to waste, they leave the guts ontop of the sandwhich when they are done.
