ER is a pseudonym for Liz, a married female from Ontario, Canada. Married to a chef, she has gained a love of cooking and twenty pounds since meeting her husband.

This self-proclaimed “info junkie” enjoys the informative yet entertaining programs on the Discovery Channel. MythBusters is among her guilty pleasures, along with Survivor_(TV_series), House, and the soap opera As the World Turns.

Despite having only a high school education, ER works as a bookkeeper and office manager for a small business. While she enjoys her work, ER dreams of moving to Northern Ontario with her husband, and living in a cottage on the shores of a lake.

ER's mother is anglophone Quebecer, from the Eastern Townships region of Quebec. Her mother moved to Toronto in the early 1970's to pursue a secretarial career, which later lead to bookkeeping.

ER's father was a Jamaican who immigrated to Canada in 1972 along with his parents and and at least two of his six siblings. His other siblings moved to the United States and Great Britain. A staunch monarchist, ER's father named his youngest daughter after Queen Elizabeth II of Britain.
