Equitana

Equitana is a major international annual equestrian exhibition event, which began in 1999. The event features a mixture of horse riding skills, including trick riding and other expertise in the show. There are also horse riding instruction lessons, and equestrian equipment on show.

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

Equitana 2002 was held in November, 2002 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (pictured right), which is located near the South Bank Parklands, Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. During Equitana 2002, Equestrian dressage formation and trick riding were featured. Also a comical 'melodrama' in which Steve Jefferys and his Australian Stock Horse "Drummer" and also Steve Jeffery's Border Collie "Jana", were featured. Country singing was also featured in the show.
