I am Antiochian Orthodox, chrismated Patrick in 2001. I was tonsured a reader in March 2005 by Bishop BASIL ESSEY.

There are some wikipedia edits I was responsible for, before I got an account. I started the fuel pump page. I added the section of early protestant Mary-veneration quotes to the Mary Mother of God page. Some typos and debiasing here and there. I also added the Orthodox section to the Primacy_of_Simon_Peter page, but was accidentally not logged in. Anyone know how to claim a past revision?

Professionally, I am a self-employed linux and open source guru.

What with church responsibilities (leader of music for my parish), typesetting Byzantine musing, learning byzantine notation, being a new father, open source contributions, writing a book, house repairs, vocational development, and so on, I end up being pretty busy.

Note to self: Talk:Theotokos#IN_NEED_OF_TRANSLATION is in need of Greek quote translation.

Note to other wikipedians: The userbox convention seems to be embroiled in a debate right now. I have seen mention of userboxes as distasteful for reasons of being something (evangelical, propoganda pushing, prosylitizing (sp?), fill in the blank). I assure you, the only reason I like the userboxes is because I want you to get to know me better, and because I feel it is useful to know an author's bias.

I honestly don't know enough, or have reason enough yet, to care whether or not userboxes are in this space or that space (although one concern of mine (perhaps unfounded) is that an overall listing of userbox options may become incomplete or unavailable as userbox options are splintered into different spaces). If you change my userbox, fine. I'm too ignorant to make it "correct" as of yet. Just make sure that it still looks about the same.
