Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota

The Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America which covers all of Minnesota. It is in Province VI. It has two cathedrals: the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Faribault and St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis. Its offices are in Minneapolis. Henry Benjamin Whipple was the first bishop of the diocese. James Jelinek is the current bishop. For a period of time the diocese was split in two, but the Diocese of Duluth was reunited with the Diocese of Minnesota in the 1940s.
