Epicyon

Epicyon is an extinct canid genus of the subfamily Borophaginae ("bone-crushing dogs"), native to Miocene North America. This genus contained several species of the largest canids to have ever lived, such as Epicyon haydeni, which stood 37 inches (0.9 meters) tall at the shoulder.
