My full name is Daniel Paul Malin. I was born in Long Beach, California in 1982. I attend UCI in Irvine, California. My major is political science and specifically in the area of comparative politics. My main interests is of the politics of East Asia. I am a volunteer at Koo's Art Center and have been since 2000.

I enjoy literature, music, and film as well as cooking vegetarian food. Some of my favorite authors include Dave Eggers, Paul Auster, Aldous Huxley, and Haruki Murakami. I enjoy eating curry or falafel while listening to John Fahey or Explosions in the Sky.
