Eorl Crabtree (born October 2, 1982 is a rugby league player who currently plays for Huddersfield Giants in the Super League.
The 6 ft 6 in (198cm), 18 st (114 kg) prop is best known as the nephew of the legendary British professional wrestler, Shirley "Big Daddy" Crabtree, a former rugby player himself who played for league club Bradford Northern and never made an appearance for the first teams due to his firery temper. It was suggested the Eorl's lack of this type of aggression is what held him back from further sucess; much to the annoyance of Eorl ,although in recent years this has improved somewhat and he is now one of the most promising young forwards in the game.
Though born in Cleethorpes, Eorl Crabtree was raised in the town of Huddersfield since he was three years old. During his early years for the Giants he was a centre before moving into his prop position. The former English international, who won five 5 caps for England during 2004 - 2005, is now on the verge of making the Great Britain squad.
