The brand was created by José "Pepin" Garcia and is manufactured at the Tabacalera Cubana factory in the Estelí, Nicaragua. The brand was introduced in August of 2006.

This brand is available in two ranges of five vitolas each. Both ranges come in boxes of 20.

A medium to full-bodied smoke, the filler and binder are Nicaraguan tobacco and the wrapper is Ecuadoran-grown Connecticut-seed tobacco. The band has gold printing on a black background.
