Enrique Norten

Enrique Norten is a Mexican architect.

In 1985, he founded Taller de Enrique Norten Arquictectos S.C. (TEN Arquitectos) with Bernardo Gomez-Pimienta. He has won many architectural awards, including an Honorary Fellowship from the American Institute of Architects, and the first "Mies van der Rohe" Award for his work in Latin America. He has taught at the Pratt Institute, Rice University, Columbia University and Harvard. In July, 2002 he received his first commission in the United States, from the Brooklyn Public Library, to design a Visual and Performing Arts Library. He was a founding member of the editorial board of the magazine Arquitectura. He currently holds the Miller Chair of Architecture at University of Pennsylvania.

He has served on the jury of several architectural competitions including the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003.
