Enkyo

Enkyō (延享) was a Japanese era after Kampō and before Kan'en and spanned from 1744 to 1748. Reigning emperors were Sakuramachi and Momozono.

To mark the start of a new 60-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac, on the 21st day of the 2nd month of Kampō 4 (1744), the era was changed to Enkyō (延享, "Becoming prolonged"?)
