English National Hockey League

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The English National Hockey League is an ice hockey league in England.

The league consists of two divisions. English National Ice Hockey League Division One (despite its name, the lowest level of league hockey in England), is divided into northern and southern conferences and is primarily for amateur teams, including the "B" teams of several clubs in higher leagues. The English Premier Ice Hockey League, created in 1997, became the national second tier (alongside the Scottish National League) with the British National League's demise at the end of the 2004/05.
