engin Limited (also known as engin) is Australia's largest VoIP phone provider with over 43,000 customers Australia wide. Engins main competition is TalkBroadband a service of the American company Primus Telecom. Resellers of select products include Dick Smith Electronics and Tandy. The company is 33% owned by the Seven Network. [1]

The safety of calls over VoIP is questionable, however engin does encrypt calls. engin only accepts Credit Card payments for invoices, thus inconvenient for some people.
