I understand the long history of dividing the Animalia into Vertebrates and Invertebrates, but I am still bothered by classifying an article about an organ that is found only in Chordates as belonging to the subject area of the Invertebrates, especially as this organ is believed to be homologous with the thyroid gland of Vertebrates.
