"Endless sorrow" is the 22nd single released by Ayumi Hamasaki on May 16, 2001. Also found on her I am... album, the version featured on the single is vastly different from the album version (Endless sorrow ~gone with the wind ver.~). The album version is rather long, mellow, and has a darker, calmer sound. The single version features dramatic strings, piano, and rock leanings.

The single's cover is reminiscent of a scene from the video, where a young winged boy waits atop a tower.
