Enda Caldwell

Enda Caldwell born in Dublin on March 28, 1975) is an Irish radio presenter from Kilberry ,Navan, County Meath .Initially Enda studied Television presentation with Kevin Macnamidhe at Navan Community Television (now known as Province 5 Television) Enda’s radio career began on Irish Pirate Radio at Kiss FM Dundalk in 1992. He studied Radio Production and Journalism at BCFE ,Ballyfermot,Dublin from 1993 to 1995 During which time he presented some Friday afternoon shows for "Dublin's Dance Music Factory" Sunset 107 as Enda Story.He also helped Greg Parke set up Energy Radio in Navan and presented some shows on the station.After College days Enda went south to present evenings at Tipp FM Swing work followed on air with Waterford's WLR FM and Louth and Meath's LMFM.On September 27th 1996 he debuted on air at South East Radio presenting "South East Radio's Power FM". After a year as main swing presenter at the station Enda covering all the major shows from South East Radio's Full Irish Breakfast through to Drive during this time Enda presented some cover Drive shifts at Q 102.9 in Londonderry in September 1998,Enda was offered a position closer to home at Midlands 103 where he worked briefly before moving to Kiss 106 in Northern Ireland where he launched the station's live programming by presenting the very first live breakfast show at Kiss until he became Head of Imaging and Commercial Production at Satellite station Radio Limerick One and RLO TV based in Limerick's Patrick Street.In late 1999 and early 2000 Enda was dj-ing live at many venues all over Ireland and did a couple of shows at Dublin pirate ESG 94 FM. John O'Hara recognised Enda's dedication to radio by offering him a position as overnight presenter with the newly relaunched Atlantic 252 in early February 2000 and Enda's international reputation was founded at once at this point working for RTE and RTL Group for almost two years presenting every possible shift on the station including the last ever live show from their studios at Mornington House,Trim County Meath on Thursday December 20th 2001 when the station closed down.Positions with a number of UK and Irish radio stations followed, including Today FM Ireland (Planet Hits,Nothin' But 90's and The Today FM Top 40), Cool FM Northern Ireland (daytime cover presenter between 2002 and 2005 on various shifts including Drive,Evenings and Midmornings/Weekend Breakfast) and since 2003 he's also been heard on air at Wyvern FM where he presented drivetime from Saptember 2002 to February 2003, Beat 102-103(South East Ireland), Kiss 100 (London, April 2004 - evenings 7 - 9pm), 104.9 Xfm (London, September 2004 - weekend early breakfast), Real Radio (Wales) (December 2005 to April 2006 on overnights and weekend late night shows), Reading 107(August 2006 - weekends) Choice FM (Ireland) (autumn 2005 and 2006 - temporary BCI licensed station) and Dublin's Country Mix 106.8 FM(September 2006) presenting "The Early Bird" programme.
Enda is the nighttime imaging / radio i.d. voice of "The Fridge" on Dublin's No.1 commercial radio station FM 104. He has also voiced radio imaging for various other stations around the world including Spirit FM(Ireland).His website is online at www.endacaldwell.com

On September 26th, 2006 Enda began as presenter on Radio Luxembourg where he presents daytime shows and weekend breakfast shows on the Classic Rock station which now broadcasts in Digital Radio Mondiale and online at www.radioluxembourg.co.uk
