End of an Era
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
End of an Era is the live DVD and double CD from the Finnish symphonic metal-band Nightwish. The recording was done on October 21, 2005 at the Hartwall Areena in Helsinki. The band was joined on-stage by John Two-Hawks for the performance of a song called "Stone People", played before the performance of "Creek Mary's Blood" where he was also featured using his voice for the featured voice in Lakota and reciting a poem in the same language.
End of An Era is the final Nightwish production to feature Tarja Turunen on vocals, since she was fired directly after the show.
The DVD contains "The Day Before Tomorrow" documentary, a 55 minute documentary about the 15 days prior to the concert.
