[edit] Propellers
The two propellers are highly skewed fixed pitch types, manufactured in Sweden. Enchantment of the Seas and her sister ship Grandeur of the Seas are the first two major cruise ships to be equipped with a Dynamic Positioning System.
[edit] Facilities
There are plenty of public areas, three pools, spas, several bars, and dining establishments in addition to the main dining room. Its facilities include a theater, a solarium, a children's and a regular pool, a spa and fitness center, a 2 story dining room called the My Fair Lady, the Windjammer Cafe, themed bars and lounges, a dance center, a shopping center, a teen disco, a piano bar, an observation center, a rock-climbing wall and the Viking Crown Lounge.
[edit] Overhaul
In 2005, the Enchantment of the Seas was overhauled by cutting it in half amidship and adding a 73 foot long section. This new section included 151 new staterooms, outdoor trampoline bungees, suspension bridges, an expanded pool area, and floor windows allowing an unobstructed view of the ocean below.
