Talk:Emyn Arnen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Actually, the movie got the scene pretty much right. It really was just a hidden cave behind a waterfall with supplies stacked here and there. ---Ricimer, October 30, 2004
The Emyn Arnen are not where Faramir brings Frodo that's Hennuth Anun. That's Northeast of Minas Tirith in North Ithilien, while the Emyn Arnen are in South-East Ithili---Ricimer
- Correct on both accounts. For a quick confirmation of the actual location of the Window on the West, see this map.
- Furthermore, the intended meaning of the name is not "High Hills", but rather "Hills beside the water" (Vinyar Tengwar 42:17).
- I've corrected this article, and will take care of the Henneth Annûn redirect shortly. --LRC 20:56, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
