[edit] Stop spamming

Stop spamming articles with the subscription only country-reports.org links. If you continue, you would be blocked from editing. --Ragib 19:36, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires.
--Ragib 19:42, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

You emailed me about justification for the block. Well, *all* of your edits were just adding links to the countryreports.org website, to which I presume you are affiliated. The website is a commercial one, and provides only a very small amount of information for free, and asks people to buy subscriptions. Your actions, despite a warning, constitute spamming. Wikipedia's guidelines (see anti-Spamming guidelines) are against such spamming activities. Please refrain from further spamming once your 24 hour block is over. Thanks. --Ragib 20:23, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

I've read the anti-spamming rules and there is nothing in there about commercial sites or subscription sites. --Emulateme 15:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Last warning

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Khoikhoi 07:10, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi Emulateme. See Wikipedia:Spam. It says in the frist paragraph that commercial websites aren't permitted. Usually, people are encouraged to add actual text to articles instead of adding links to their websites. It is considered advertising, despite the fact that they relate to the topics. --Khoikhoi 01:21, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add any more spam links. You have already been warned several times. Wmahan. 19:16, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
