Emperor Nijō

Emperor Nijō (二条天皇 Nijō Tennō) (July 31, 1143 – September 5, 1165) was the 78th imperial ruler of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession. He reigned from September 5, 1158 to August 3, 1165. His personal name was Morihito (守仁).
