Emilio de Gogorza

Emilio de Gogorza (1872-1949) was an Spanish-American baritone.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, but he sang in many languages, including French, English, Italian, and Spanish. He sang with Enrico Caruso a Spanish song (canción española) called "A la luz de la luna" (In the moonlight), composed by Antón y Michelena. He later recorded the same song with Tito Schipa (in 1928). He died in 1949 in New York, New York, from lung cancer.
