Emil Strub

Emil Strub (born July 13, 1858 in Trimbach, Switzerland, died December 15, 1909) was a Swiss builder, railway builder and inventor who invented the Strub rack system. It is similar to the Abt rack system but uses just one wide rack plate welded on top of a flat bottom T railway rail. It is the simplest rack system to maintain and has become increasingly popular.
