Emil Radok

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Emil Radok (1918-1994) was a Czech film director. He was a co-inventor of the multi-screen show. He was exiled to and died in Canada.

Emil Radok's most monumental project was perhaps his "kinetic mosaic" which he designed together with Walt Disney Imagineering for the Universe of Energy pavilion at Epcot. This was a dynamic film that employed more than 100 rotating triangular panels controlled by a computer to produce three-dimensional images. The "kinetic mosaic" today no longer exists, having been replaced by a conventional film.
