Embraced by the Light (Bantam Books 1992 ISBN 0-553-56591-5 ) is a #1 New York Times bestselling book by Betty Eadie describing her near-death experience (NDE). Eadie's NDE lasted several hours, one of the longest ever. Her book is arguably the most detailed near-death account on record. It has been published in both paperback and hardcover.
