Emanuel Tov (born October 1941, Amsterdam) is an Israeli Bible scholar. He is the J. L. Magnes Professor of Bible at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint and is author of Textual Criticism of the Hebrew Bible, the standard work on its subject.
