Elyon Brown is a fictional character in the W.I.T.C.H. comics and television series.

In the animated series Elyon is a girl born in Meridian, but taken at a very young age to Earth. She was raised there as a normal human in order to hide her from her brother, the evil sorceror Phobos, who wanted to steal her superior magical powers for his own.

She developed a crush on Cedric when she first saw him in a Halloween party. Afterwards, she met with him again in his bookshop and he began to poison her mind against the Guardians.

Elyon is the best friend of Cornelia Hale, the Guardian of Earth, and friends with all of the members of W.I.T.C.H. During season 2, Elyon was tricked into handing her powers, the Heart of Meridian, over to Nerissa.

In the later part, months after Caleb and Cornelia broke up, Elyon falls for Caleb who in turn develops the same feelings for her.

The character is voiced by Serena Berman.

Elyon is the heart of Meridian, therefore possesses great magical power that turns her into a reality warper. Power she is unaware of until she subconsciously draws upon it to save Cedric from the Guardians (in the episode Parent's Night).

With her power Elyon can:

  • Generate waves, and lightning bolts, of energy and force.
  • Manipulate physical reality, changing it at will.
  • Create portals between Meridian and Earth, including ones that alter the matter that passes through it (she was able to shrink the Guardians and Caleb when they travelled to Meridian through a portal she created).
  • Generate ghostly images of herself, similar to the astral drops. These illusionary copies are capable of moving independently of Elyon, but have no shadows, do not react as a real person would, and have not been seen to speak. If they are touched they disappear, and they can be blasted apart by a strong wind.
  • Project an astral form, partly transparent, even between Meridian and Earth. Unlike her ghostly copies, this form is the true Elyon, and she is able to use it to communicate.
  • Teleport, even between dimensions.
  • telekinesis.
  • Flight.
  • Imprison people in water like spheres or freeze them in ice.
  • Influence minds, turning people (or animals) aggressive or forcing them to fall unconscious.
