Elsenham is a small village in North West Essex. Its neighbouring towns include Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Walden, and Stansted Mountfitchet. The village is also approximately 3 miles from Stansted Airport, and has been the centre of attention as it has become under threat in the last few years over the prospect of a highly publicised expansion of the airport.
The village is served by a railway station.
