The Elk Lakes cabin is an alpine hut located between the French and Italian Military Groups in the Canadian Rockies, in Elk Lakes Provincial Park, British Columbia. The hut is maintained by the Alpine Club of Canada. Coordinates: 50°33′12″N, 115°05′12″W NAD83 11U 635538 5601904

Hiking or skiing access to the hit from Alberta is achieved through Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, Kananaskis Country. Once there, you'll find easy hiking trails as well as mountaineering objectives. The terrain is comparable to that surrounding the Elizabeth Parker hut.

The hut sleeps 10, and is equipped with propane for lamps and stove.
