Say, why were the external links removed? I don't think the "examples of patterns" link was all that important, but the animated demonstration was quite nice, and very informative besides.

Can we bring that one back? I think it'd be helpful.

Animated demonstration contains CTL logo. It came before any other information. Look like promotion. For Wikipedia better to have some thing more neutral.  ;-)

I disagree with the first paragraph--it implies that the basic difference between an ELISPOT and an ELISA is that the antigen of interest is added first in an ELISA while it is added second in an ELISPOT. This is mostly true, except that a Sandwich ELISA also adds the antibody first before the antigen of interest is added (much like an ELISPOT). The real difference between ELISAs and ELISPOTS is that for ELISAs, the amount of antigen is directly tested while in ELISPOTs, the quantitative determination of the number of cells in a population that are producing antibodies specific for a given antigen or an antigen for which one has a specific antibody is determined. So for ELISPOTs, the antigen of a secreting cell is what sticks to the antibody, which is stuck to the bottom of a nitrocellulose plate.
