Elizabethtown (Amtrak station)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Elizabethtown Station is an Amtrak rail station located about halfway between Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Wilson Avenue in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The station is located on the south edge of the developed part of the borough, approximately .75 miles from the center of the borough. It is served by all Amtrak Keystone Service trains and westbound Pennsylvanian trains.
An old railroad station building exists at the stop, but it is not currently used. There is also no ticket office at this station. In Federal Fiscal Year 2005, there were 51,481 Amtrak boardings plus alightings at this station [1]. Elizabethtown is the 6th busiest Amtrak station in Pennsylvania and the 5th busiest in the state serviced by the Keystone Service.
