   AN AMERICAN SINGER
He auditioned for POP IDOL(UK VERSION OF AMERICAN IDOL). 
Along with a group of four other american contestants.

He recieved praise from three of the judges do to his style of singing,choice of song,and originality in apparel. He was eliminated in the first rounds of eliminations by the judges.Elijah was the first contestant from the group of americans to be cut from the show.He had trouble controling his natural vibrato voice,wich caused his voice to crack and break when attempting to hit keys out of his range.He tended to miss notes entirely,this caused controversey amoung the judges. POP IDOL judge NICKI CHAPMAN was quoted saying "you remind me of a boy version of Ryan Starr...your really do."

He stayed in the UK awhile longer after being eliminated.

It has been rumored that he turned down a recording contract with 19 MANAGEMENT do to creative differences, and different views on wich direction his singing career should go, in terms of genre.

There have been no further plans for Elijah to launch any further singing career. 
Elijah is currently back in the United States along with fellow american POP IDOL contestants.
Since his boot from the show he has kept a low profile.
