The fact that it hasn't been updated for ages sure makes one wonder... can't anyone find any evidence?

It is fairly certian he is not dead, as there has been one more update on his news page, stating that "Comics are for gerks." this is his explination of Why Elftor is not updating, so it is fairly safe to assume that he is no longer updating.
