[edit] Lolita

In my opinion you mixed up the chronology of the story , I have a Polish edition so I cannot look at the same page as you. In my opinion first Humbert reads a letter from Dolly, and later we learn who the character of Dolly was based on while your edit made it seem like those two things happened almost at the same time. But neither am I a fan of this Bbook or an expert at it, so I will not stick to my point. Regards Mieciu K 18:22, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Eikonal equation

Thank you for the new Eikonal equation which was much needed. I did some fixes on it, and fixed a bug or two. Wonder if you could take a second look at it and see if it all looks right. How about writing a signed distance function article? :) Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 01:55, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Danaë (painting)

Updated DYK query On 11 August 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article ''Danaë (painting)'', which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Great article! Enjoyed reading it. It's on the Main Page for DYK now. Cheers -- Samir धर्म 21:11, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:23BIPGLY.GIF

Thanks for uploading Image:23BIPGLY.GIF. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:04, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for edit summary

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. – Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 05:33, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
