Elbasan script
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Elbasan script is an eighteenth-century script used for the Albanian language. It was named after the city of Elbasan where it was invented. However, it was not widely used and was overwhelmed by Greek, Arabic and Latin scripts, the latter becoming the official one in 1908.
Another original script used for Albanian, was Beitha Kukju script of the 19th century. This script did not have much influence either.
