The recent boss fight between the Order of Esperanza and Forces of Darkness (Yay Forces of Darkness!!) has been rather contentious. One notable point of the whole mess was that the votes were very numerous, but not all of them were good examples of a vote. On both sides.

In the interest of unity, I have decided to analyze the voting results. Please be aware that these results are my PERSONAL OPINION.

[edit] Valid, Reasoned Votes

  1. Delete - Shrieking Harpy: Well, I referenced WP: NOT and my concerns. I think it was valid.
  2. Delete – Quadell: asserted good faith, referenced a problem with Esperanza not being inline with Wikipedia as a whole.
  3. Delete - Wizardry Dragon: Referral to WP:NOT, and that some people have been put off by EA.
  4. Delete - JoeSmack: Referenced WP:5P and WP:NOT, concerns about encylopedic content.
  5. Delete - Cyde Weys: Concerns about WP:NOT, Admin Coaching, and cliquism in voting.
  6. Delete - Majorly: references WP: NOT and points to userpage awards as problematic.
  7. Delete - Moreschi: Recommended a move to Wikia, concerns about attitude, and thus WP:CIVIL
  8. Delete - ST47: Concerns about EA contribution, games, and the fact that the backlog piles up, and WP:NOT
  9. Delete - HooopyDink : References WP:NOT, and concerns about usefulness to encyclopedic goals.
  10. Delete - Pilotguy: General, but mostly civilly stated concerns. Referred to WP:5P and WP:NOT tangentally.

[edit] Invalid, Unreasoned Votes

  1. Delete - JD : Rather rude declaration that EA is nothing but a popularity contest, and the usual per nom that says nothing.
  2. Delete - The Crying Orc : bit too much vitroility, and asserations of studipity do not a deletion make.
  3. Delete - Jaranda: compared to MySpace? No real asseration of why it must be deleted or moved.
