Eladio Larez

Eladio Larez (b. June 8, 1940?) is a Venezuelan businessperson. He is currently the president of Radio Caracas Television, one of Venezuela's leading television networks.

Eladio Larez was born in Carúpano in the eastern Venezuelan state of Sucre. He studied law at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and later attended graduate schools in Chile and Argentina.
His career in television began at Televisora Nacional (channel 5) as the host of the cultural programs La Canción Venezolana, Esta noche, Música de cámara, Gran Concierto, and a children's show called El Universo de los Niños.
Eladio Larez joined RCTV on January 18, 1971, as the new anchor for El Observador Creole, RCTV's news program. Later, he became host and producer of the programs Martes Monumental, Venezuela Vibra, Pantalla de plata, Lo increíble, and Alerta, winning several Venezuelan television awards.
He would go on to hold various positions in RCTV's administration. Today, Larez is the president of RCTV. Also, he is the leader of the Venezuelan Federation of the Industry of Television and has presided the International Broadcasting Association.
Currently, Eladio Larez is the host of ¿Quién quiere ser millonario?, the Venezuelan version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Eladio Larez is married to Dora D'Agostino. They have two daughters, Vanesa and Daniela. D'Agostino has also hosted several shows on RCTV.
