The official name is El Triunfo de San Miguel. It is located in Northern Michoacán, Mexico and is part of the Numaran municipality, it is about 20 km from La Piedad de Cavadas. Its distance from Numaran is 3.5 km with a paved road. The main economy is agriculture followed by livestock and commerce. In 1995 the population was 747. This number tends to swell in September and December when many people who are now in the United States return to El Triunfo to visit family and friends.
