El Shaddai Charitable Trust

El Shaddai Charitable Trust is a charity set up and run by co-founders Anita Edgar and Matthew Kurian with the aim of helping orphaned street children in India.

El Shaddai operates:

  • 5 children's homes
  • 3 night shelters & day care units
  • a non formal school
  • a vocational training college

The charity's fundraising focuses mostly on gaining sponsors for orphans, enabling the children to better their prospects by attending school or learning a trade.
