El Shaddai Charitable Trust is a charity set up and run by co-founders Anita Edgar and Matthew Kurian with the aim of helping orphaned street children in India.
El Shaddai operates:
- 5 children's homes
- 3 night shelters & day care units
- a non formal school
- a vocational training college
The charity's fundraising focuses mostly on gaining sponsors for orphans, enabling the children to better their prospects by attending school or learning a trade.
