El Paso County Coliseum

El Paso County Coliseum is a 5,250-seat multi-purpose arena in El Paso, Texas. The Coliseum opened on May 22, 1942. The facility also seats up to 7,500 for concerts.
Many famous American and Mexican singers performed their live concerts here up until early 1980's to name a few: Elvis Presley in 1973 (sold out concert), Mexican ranchero king, Vicente Fernandez and his son, Alejandro Fernandez. Other performances were also held here such as motorbikes, mud vehicles and monster trucks.
The El Paso County Coliseum will house a 2008 expansion team in the Intense Football League. It is also the former home of the El Paso Buzzards (Central Hockey League).
