[edit] Career

[edit] World Wrestling Council (1997-2004)

César López started in the WWC as Black Boy, a mid-card wrestler who had great matches against El Rockero, El Exocito (Papparazzi), and Sean Hill, among others. He was the wrestler personally picked by Carlos Colon to teach his sons Carlito and Eddie Colon to start their careers in 1999 under his teachings. Lopez left WWC to work the independent circuit but returned to WWC in 2002 and even had a match against then-TV Champion Fidel Sierra at WWC/XWF Invasion in October 2002. He turned heel on March 2003 in Carolina, Puerto Rico when he put on a black glove, which became his trademark finisher, to slug Alex Montalvo and attack Super Gladitor and helped Bronco #1 attack the faces coming out to aid Montalvo & Gladitor.

He changed his name to Dominican Boy afterwards and feuded with Gladitor, Eddie and Stacy Colon, among others. Lopez won the WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship as well as made Eddie Colon shave his head after a Hair vs Mask Match in Gurabo, Puerto Rico on June 6, 2003.

He lost a Hair vs Mask match at Anniversary 2003 to Colon (Stacy Colon put her hair up in the match). When he was pinned Stacy Colon grabbed the microphone and demanded he unmask. Dominican Boy went berserk as "El Bolitero" Eli Rodriguez tried to calm him down. He returned a week later as Diamante Dominicano and won the Universal Heavyweight Championship from Lightning on September 13, 2003 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. He started a feud with Carly when he attacked Carlos Colon (the special referee during the match) during his match against Lightning in October, 2003.

He lost the title to Carly on December 20, 2003 in Caguas, Puerto Rico in a steel cage match.

He then started a mini-angle with Jose Rivera, Jr. after each cost the other a victory, but then César López left for the IWA so this angle ended quickly.

[edit] International Wrestling Association (2004)

César López entered IWA as Ray Gonzalez's mystery partner against Victor The Bodyguard & Chet The Jett after Ricky Banderas was unable to wrestle in the match under a Rey Fenix mask. Wrestled Hurucan Castillo in his last IWA match when Gran Apolo attacked both men. He was briefly in the company, then left due to problems with the creative team over his direction and push.

[edit] WWC Return (2004-2005)

César López returned to WWC, and got a big push with him feuding with Eddie Colon and Eric Alexander, teaming with Diabolico (and later with Bronco #1), winning the Tag Team titles from the Starr Corporation, and feuding with Delta Force. After the title loss he joined "Mr. Hardcore" Rico Suave, Eric Alexander, Jose Estrada, Sr., "Mr. USA" Brett Dail, "La Nueva Amenaza" Bryan, and Eli Rodriguez to form Poder Supremo (Supreme Power) and won the Universal Heavyweight title for the 2nd time, regaining it from Eddie Colon. He lost the title on his final night in the company to Eddie Colon in a TLC Match on July 16, 2005 after César López received an offer to join New Wrestling Stars.

[edit] New Wrestling Stars (2005-2006)

César López debuted on July 22, 2005 in Yauco, Puerto Rico during a run-in with El Profe, Anarchy, Black Pain and other heels. Dr. Cesar Vargas signaled for Glamour Boy Shane to come out (this was also Shane's NWS debut as well), and they feuded all over the NWS for 6 months. As well, César López wrestled Chicky Starr, Hurucan Castllo, Livewire, and El Nene. On December 18, 2005 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, Barabas, Jose Chapparo, and Chicky Starr turned on César López when he had Shane pinned to win the WWC Universal Heavyweight title for the 4th time. He returned on January 8, 2006 dressed as one of the 3 Kings and cleaned house, which started a feud with Chicky Starr. He won the NWS Heavyweight Championship on March 26, 2006 over Tim Arson in San Sebastian, and feuded with him in both WWC & NWS. He lost the title when he left the company over backstage problems and was stripped of the Heavyweight title.

[edit] World Wrestling Stars (2006)

César López went to WWS, and was given their Heavyweight title. Plus, he resumed his feud with "El Sultan" Jose Luis Rivera, and he was stripped of the title by Rivera after a match against Just Perfect on June 25, 2006 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, so he left to return to the NWS.

[edit] NWS Return (2006)

Back in NWS, he unmasked as Mr. GPR on August 5, 2006 after a match in which he became a 2-time Heavyweight Champion, fooling both Jose Chapparo & El Profe. He teamed with "El Juvenil" Noregia to feud with then-Tag Team Champions Los Bad Guys (Bandido & Crazy Rudy). He defended his Heavyweight title against both Bandido & Crazy Rudy until the company shut down.

[edit] IWA Return (2006)

César López returned to IWA at IWA Armaggedon on November 18, 2006 in Carolina, Puerto Rico as the teammate of El Bakano in the Dominincan Revolution against La Zona Ilegal (Chicano & Jumping Jeff Jeffrey) where he is known once again as Diamante Dominicano. Won the Tag Team titles with El Bakano from Chicano & Jeff Jeffrey at IWA Christmas in Puerto Rico on December 9, 2006.
